People’s Bank Partners with Read and Feed

To provide additional support to the local community, Peoples Bank has partnered with Read and Feed as a book drive sponsor with book drop off collections at our Raleigh and Cary locations. Read and Feed is a non-profit organization operating throughout the Raleigh and Cary area with a mission to strengthen literacy skills of under-served elementary school children. The program provides children with books of their own as well as meals in neighborhood environments, distributing over 33,000 books annually to their children participants. Peoples Bank is also hosting an online fundraiser which can be found on our Facebook. The bank will match funds raised through this promotion and make a direct donation to Read and Feed up to $2500.
