Celebrate #GivingTuesday with Read and Feed

#GivingTuesday is coming up on November 30th — a day that is, by far, one the biggest giving days of the year. In fact, #GivingTuesday was started in 2012 as a simple idea: create a day that encourages people to do good.

This year, Read and Feed has several ways for you to celebrate the day and take part in the movement that has become a global phenomenon. Read on to learn more.

Log On for #GivingTuesday

Join us for a special 30-minute Zoom meeting at 12 Noon as we GIVE THANKS TO YOU.  During this virtual update you will hear from our Executive Director and key volunteers about the difference we are collectively making on children’s literacy and food security. Read and Feed is committed to doubling our impact and will be sharing some exciting announcements on this call too! Be sure to RSVP so we can send you the link.

Donate on #GivingTuesday

Our goal for #GivingTuesday is to raise $10,000 in 24 hours. Adding even greater impact to #GivingTuesday gifts, we are in the midst of the Double the Impact Matching Gift Challenge. Therefore, reaching our $10,000 goal can yield $20,000 in funding to do what we do best: give KIDS an appetite for READING. During #GivingTuesday, all new and increased gifts will be doubled. Share on #GivingTuesday

We bet you know other like-minded people who want to do good on #GivingTuesday. Will you help us spread the word? You can:

  1. Forward this email to your friends inviting them to take part.
  2. Share our posts on social media and direct them to our website. There they can make a secure online donation and be counted in our campaign.
  3. Tell people about our matching gift challenge to expand our network.

Remember every new donation, regardless of size, will be matched dollar-for-dollar as a part of the Double the Impact Matching Gift Challenge, and every bit helps.
