Diversify our book collection

In honor of Black History Month, Read and Feed is diversifying our book club collection. We serve 600 elementary school students who represent different races and backgrounds. In addition, these children each have their own interests and passions that guide their reading preferences. We want to have books that kids can get excited about.

During February Read and Feed would like to add 17 new book titles to our library that have African Americans as the main characters.

$12 is the average price for a book, and we purchase books in sets of three so they can be read as a group.
